Since 1988, our emphasis on local and fresh has influenced every plate coming from our open, exhibition-style kitchen the first of its kind in the St. Croix Valley. Our fresh baked goods make a short daily trip north from Grateful Bread in River Falls, WI. Our steaks and chops are hand-cut in house, our lean burgers are CAB and ground to Barkers specifications by our butcher on a daily basis, our sausage selection is made in house by Chef Sam, and we season and roast our whole-bird turkeys daily in our ovens. The famous Barkers Fries that our fans know and love are hand cut twice a day by our dedicated serving staff and delivered to you a perfect golden brown each and every time. And the wings undoubtedly the best in the area, prepared in a variety of styles, and served to you with celery, blue cheese or ranch, and a smile.

Barkers is Hudsons original downtown favorite bar and grill. Opened in October of 1988, the location has a long, rich history on Hudsons hospitality scene dating back to Gust Ericksons Stockholm Saloon in the early to mid-1900s, Harrys Tip Top Bar in the 1960s and 1970s, and the CC Bar & Grill in the late 1970s to 1980s. Barkers Bar & Grill truly is a bistro of a tavern elevating your usual pub fare with our house-smoked meats, fresh baked goods, and focus on scratch cooking. Weve been serving craft beers since before they had a name and continue to delight our guests with an ever-changing selection of the very best craft and micro brews. We feature local favorites from Rush River Brewing Company, Surly Brewing Company, and Pictchfork Brewing as well as selections from Dogfish Head , Three Floyds Brewing Co., and Deschutes Brewery.
